Step 6. Forget about your phone.(done)

Step 7. Buy a moleskine and a pen.

Step 7 – Buy a moleskine and a pen.

You know what a pen is , but what is a moleskine? Let me tell you. I was not paid to say this , I just say this because I use a moleskine , also it would be nice to get some free one , haha.
Moleskine is a brand that identifies a family of notebooks , diaries , and city guides : flexiple and brilliantly simple tools for use both in everyday and extraodinary circumstances , ultimately becoming an integral part of one’s personality.
I use my moleskine just like this : http://plannerhack.com/.
Also buy a nice pen , you will feel bad if you don’t use it , buy a Parker one or a Faber Castle those are some expensive pens.
If you say that the prices are to high , the are not that high , but I chose those for a reason.
If you pay 15-20$ for a notebook and 80-100$ for a pen , you will feel bad if you don’t use them , this way you will be more organized. That’s the point.
Oh , this is finally over , I feel I have a lot to say about this , but I’ll write more in the next articles.
If you got the steps , and followed them you will sure be more organized by now.

Here you can buy a moleskine

Being Organized (Part 7 of 8)

Welcome back , this is almost over  you have this part with 2 steps and the next article with the last part , great. So maybe you ask why I’ve separated those articles in steps , parts. The answer is : because I think it’s better to make some improvement this way , you read you put into practice for 2-3 days and then you come to the website and read the next article , and also it’s easier to read this way , easier to learn.
Step 1. Forget about your TV (done)
Step 2. Try being less active on those websites that require you to lose a lot of time. (done)

Step 4. Back to paper and pencil. (done)
Step 5. Organize your life with a schedule calendar.
Step 6. Forget about your phone.
Step 7. Buy a moleskine and a pen.

Step 5 – Organize your life with a schedule calendar.

I have a schedule calendar where I write what I have important to do in that day , I write my university stuff , my exams , paper quiz , projects , all my dead lines are there , and that makes me see how many days I have left until there and I can focus on that problem.
I’ll show you a picture of what I mean , of a schedule calendar:

Step 6 – Forget about your phone

You don’t need to forget about your phone all the time , you need to forget about the phone when you work , or when you want to be focused.
Put the phone in silent mode , no vibrations with the screen down on the desk and start doing what you want.
Only after you finish , you can look and call if someone called you

See you in part 8 , the final part of these series , where I will talk about Step 7. Buy a moleskine and a pen.” , very interesting information.

Step 6. Forget about your phone.
Step 7. Buy a moleskine and a pen.

Step 4 – Back to paper and pencil

Oh , I love to talk about this , because this changed the way I act , they way I work .
Paper and pencil. Back to them , back to basics. Everything you want to memorize , or to remember later on , write it down. I have my desk , with a plastic thing on it and under the plastic I have a schedule calendar , a motivational quote , the SQ3R technique , a piece of paper with what I want to achieve , and a paper with the date of my exams.
That helps me focus on what I want to later on , and when I try , even when I try to make something that makes me lose time , I look down on those pieces of paper and say , If I do that I won’t be able to get where I want in life.
So , take notes , do if you want as I did , everything that workes for you , that makes you more focused.

See you in part 7 of this series where I will talk about “Step 5 – Organize your life with a schedule calendar” and about “Step 6 – Forget about your phone”.

Step 3 – Running and reading

This is something , that if you haven’t saw this will be just great , I’ll let you watch the video , because it’s just enough for this topic.

<iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/-08M7JpLpl4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

That’s a great speak think about it , and see you in part 5 of this series, where I’ll talk about “Step 4 – Back to paper and pencil”

Being Organized (Part 4 of 8)

Welcome back , hope you did what I said the past article about TV if so you are ready to go and you are ready to take one more step in your way of having an organized life , a better life.
If you haven’t read the last article about organization , you can read it here: http://oneway-up.com/?p=291 , have fun reading.
So, let’s start!
Step 1. Forget about your TV (done)
Step 2. Try being less active on those websites that require you to lose a lot of time.
Step 3. Run , read.
Step 4. Back to paper and pencil.
Step 5. Organize your life with a schedule calendar.
Step 6. Forget about your phone.
Step 7. Buy a moleskine and a pen.

Step 2 – Try being less active on those websites that require you to lose a lot of time.

I don’t want to make bad advertising , but I’ll say to be less active on Facebook , Twitter , MySpace , Netlog and all of those websites that make you come for more , every single day.
Because you lose a lot of time with watching someone else photos on Facebook , playing Farmville or what whatever you play.
I’ve used twitter , I’m still using it. But now I use it when I have free time , just to see what other people have to say. But back in the days , when I was lazy (you remember) I’ve tweeted out every thing that I did : I’m playing COD , I’m going to eat pizza and so on.
Stop doing that. Some scientists discovered that if you say something , if you say you will do something , the probability is that you won’t do it.
Netlog and others are the same , stop doing that , you won’t get where you want by losing your most valuable resource , time!

And if you are not convinced , try this:

Think about a person, famous one ,that you want to become like. Then think what he did to become like that. If the answer is Facebook then you are talking about Mark Zuckerberg , the founder of the Facebook. But he worked very hard on this , he was a student at Harvard an so on.
Think what he did to get there. And start doing that.

See you in part 4 of this series , where you will read and watch a very important video , that will open your mind and you will say , ahaaaaa wow.. I’ve never thought about that.

Also you can spread the knowledge with your friends via Twitter , Facebook and others just by clicking the buttons below this article , don’t be selfish spread the information , let’s help more people!!
Thank you! <3

Being Organized (Part 3 of 8)

So you’ve got some time for thinking , here you are now , if you are ready for this just read the following steps.

Step 1. Forget about your TV
Step 2. Try being less active on those websites that require you to lose a lot of time.
Step 3. Run , read.
Step 4. Back to paper and pencil.
Step 5. Organize your life with a schedule calendar.
Step 6. Forget about your phone.
Step 7. Buy a moleskine (planner) and a pen.

Step 1 – Forget about your TV

This is your fist step in being organized.
Now you have a lot of free time , no TV gives you your life back.
It’s very sad , but that’s the truth , your TV is eating your productivity , it’s eating your life , it’s controlling your.

Control the things that you own , don’t let them control you!

You have the remote control , you can press the off button , it’s simple , just takes a second. Do that , and never come back to your TV. And when I say never I mean never , only for now , when you are trying to escape from this very bad habit.
Do this for some days try to don’t watch tv , then come here and read the next part of this series about ” Step 2. Try being less active on those websites that require you to lose a lot of time.”

See you next time , when you will escape from your TV.

Being Organized (Part 2 of 8)

Oh , hello. Glad to see you wanted more , you wanted to see how my day is now , ok I’ll give you that.

After

In the morning time , I wake up at 6 and I wake up instantly , I don’t think about it. Then I have a program that I do , it’s a program that you can achieve 100 push-up in a period of time. So I do some push-ups and that’s my morning coffee.
After that I go to university , and watch carefully and ask the professor questions about facts that I don’t understand.
In breaks I talk with my colleagues , and make jokes. I’m happy all the time.
When I came home , I take a nap , of 20 minutes. Then wake up fresh.
I study from the internet , I read motivational books and read for university  , because I love what I’m learning , understanding what the teacher said in the class.
After that I take a good old sleep , 8-9 hours works for me.

Improvement

Do you see the improvement? And I’m not lying , it may seem incredible to you , also it is to me. I’ve formed the habit of doing that every single day , and it’s very natural to me.
If you are ready to do this , and if you want to improve this , then you will read more in part 3 of this series.
And for those who think I’m lying , I say to them : why should I lie about this , I want to help you for free. You don’t pay me for this information. I take from my time to write this , just to help you , why would I lie , that’s just stupid.

See you in part 3 , where I start talking about the real steps you have to take to be more ogranized.

Being Organized (Part 1 of 8)

Oh my god , I’ve got a lot to talk about on this topic , very valuable information it’s about to reveal itself to you , the reader.
Thank you for choosing to be here , and read awesome information , then to watch TV or other time consuming activities.

Why?

Why , the question is why to be organized. And I’ve got a very good answer to that : you should be organized only if you want to , only if you want to succeed in life , and achieve all your dreams. Is that convincing?
You will say (maybe some of you) : oh that’s not true , my life is great without organization. That’s a lie , and you can stop reading here and go watch some TV , eat some ice cream , bye!
Ok for you that are still reading this , I’ve very happy to have you here , very.
Let’s continue the answer. Everything I’m writing here it’s from my own experience , I was unorganized , very bad at that. But I’ve found out the secret , and it’s very simple to be organized.
And since then , I’ve did everything that I’ve set myself up to , and succeeded. Also I’ve got more free , time to read a book sip some tea , or watch some TV shows.
My life was the pure definition of chaos , pure definition. And now when I look back I laugh and say. Oh if I haven’t organized myself , I will be still in from of the TV all the day eating ice cream (like the guys that haven’t agreed with me)

Before

Let me tell you how my usually day started : I woke up at 10am , after I haven’t sleep until 3pm (in the night time) when I’ve stayed up all night watching TV or playing video games. The when I woke up , I’ll eat something and then go to bed. Now it’s 2pm , and I’m still in bed , of let’s eat something. I eat something then go to my pc and watch some movies , TV shows , or play some games.
When I watch the clock it’s 10pm , I’ll eat some more candies and drink some more juice and then play until 3-4pm.
That was my day. Great. Now let’s see the aftermath , the day when I’ve realized that by doing that I’ve been a lost cause.
I’ll talk about that in part 2 of this series , just because I want this to be short and I want to get the point , to read this and wait , then get some more and wait , because I want to give you time think about this , if you want to give up or if you want more.

See you in part 2.

Memorization Techniques (Part 3 of 3)

SQ3R

This is the best technique you will come across. And if you haven’t heard of it , your grades will improve BIG TIMES with this one.
I’ve fount about this almost one year ago , and from then I’ve started using it every time I had exams , or quizzes , and it sure improved my grated and my knowledge.
It’s very simple
S – Study
Q – Questions
3R – Read , Recite , Review
As most of you do , I usually read the book or the material I have to prepare for the exam and underline some important fact and then read again.
But with this technique , your grades will improve , big times , trust me.

That notice that I used and use those technique for some years and I know that they work , I would never give you some information that I’ve never tried of used.
Have fun with those techniques that will improve your knowledge and your grades at school/university.

Memorization Techniques (Part 2of 3)

Ladies and gentlemen , I present to you : The Room technique
This is a technique I've discovered while watching a TV show ,  you can learn very interesting stuffby watching a TV show.
The tv show it's called "The Mentalist".
And one of the cops need's to memorize some names , and the "mentalist" shows him this technique , that I call the room.
So because it's hard to explained I'll give you the video of that , enjoy!

This is real , I've tried it , lot's of people had tried it , and I guarantee you that it works very well , just follow the steps that the guy says in the video.

In part 3 I'll talk about the %$&# technique , it's the best technique that you will ever hear of. See you in part 3 of this series.

Memorization Techniques (Part 1 of 3)

Why to read this?

Because in these series I’ll talk about memorize techniques, that I’ve applied and improved my college grades and my knowledge because that’s all I care about , not the grades.
Ok let’s start!
Mind mapping

Mind mapping it’s a very good technique , you can use it for many proposes.
Mind mapping it’s a mental map , this means it’s an graphically instrument that uses colors , lines , images and logically connections.
This is used for brainstorming , developing ideas and so on.
Here’s an example of mind mapping:

You need to start at the center of the page , write the next word that comes to your mind , that words will come as you go.
You have to remember that in this technique everything is possible , think outside of the box , be creative , use markers , pens , colors , everything you want to!

In part 2 I’ll talk about the Room technique, and you will have a video that you can learn from. See you in part 2 of this series!

Time Management (Part 5 of 5)

Last part of this series. Ok, let’s start!

My friend

So as I’ve promised to you I’ll talk about my friend and maybe you ask why? , you will see.

My friend , I won’t give his name out but he will sure read this and recognize how I’m talking about, it’s the most productive guy I’ve meet , until now. So I’ve asked him how do you do that? How do you keep your motivation? How can you be focused on what you do?
He said to me , that he loves what he is learning. He loves that , and he see’s himself in the future , doing that for a job, it’s more of a passion , a burning desire.
So this very valuable lesson it’s do : do what you love , and then will be easy to study , work with that.
Next. He is learning almost all the day. He has college from 8-1pm and then goes with his friends out for some beer or snack , then he meets with his girlfriend and his back home at 8pm , you will say , how is that a productive day. Now starts the real deal: then he starts studying from 8 to 2-3 and the next day he goes to college. Some days he come’s home early , but usually that is his program.
So by doing this , he formed a habit (as we talked in part 4) , and he is learning every single day! His grades are high , his one of the top students in that college , and trust me , what he learns it’s hard , for me because I don’t like medicine , but for him , he loves it!!! Do you get this?
Study what you love! and will be easy for you , study what you hate and you will think it’s hard, that the secret of time management , f**k all those websites that tell you step one , step two , it’s all about doing what you love the most!

Part 5 of 5
I’m sure this series of 5 articles helped you , and you’ve find out some great stuff that you can now apply in your life. If so , leave a comment , send me a email , I’d love to hear from you!
Thank you so much for reading this!
Cristian Stefan

Time Management (Part 4 of 5)

Part 4!! Ok, let’s start!

First I want to say this

As you figured out by now, in this series of time management I don’t write steps, nor give you magic pills that you will take and be more productive , like most of the motivational websites do. I talk about the actual facts, the real way that you can improve your time management, from (part 1 – sleeping , part 2 – how to sleep , part 3 – when to study and now about habits that you can create and be more productive , not that bulls**t that is on all the world wide web.

Habits

Habits are very important on doing what you want to do. For example if you run for 30 days or less , after that the running will be natural , you will know were to go , what to see , it will be in your nature to run every day. And if you stop , that you will feel bad and start over again, or give up , that’s your choice.
That is applying everywhere , from study time , to eating natural food and so on. And trust me I know this , because I was a bad example and now I’m not that guy anymore , I’m better in my way becoming the best.
How do you form the habit of not losing time? That’s easy to say , hard to do. But I have faith in you , and you can do it!
First of all , you have to start by doing what you have in mind for that day , and for example. You arrive at 1pm , than eat 10-15 minutes (1:15pm) than sleep as we talked 20 minutes , for your brain activity to improve (1:35 pm). So after that you go do your desk and start reading , writing.
By doing that every day , this will be a habit for you , you will feel great when you do this , and bad when you don’t!
I know you will succeed in forming your habits , and starting walking on your way to become more productive, and also using your time at the max.

Part 4 of 5
In the last part of this series I’ll give you an example of how to be productive , a real life example , a friend of mine that knows very well how to use his time. See you in part 5!
Cristian Stefan

Time Management (Part 3 of 5)

Part 3. Ok, let’s start!
When to do your study?

I think that doesn’t matter that much, it’s all about forming a habit. For example , I study in the day time , if I have a free day , I wake up in the morning and study then , because it works for me that way. I have a friend that studies better at night, that means from 10pm to 2am, but that’s him. Also I have a friend that studies all the day, because he likes what he studies and can’t get enough of it, true story!
Laziness

Some of us are lazier the others, I was lazy , very lazy , but that is past tense , that can be past tense for you , only if you want it to be!
Why do we get lazy? A friend of mine asked.
I said to him , because it’s easier to be lazy than to be productive , than to use your time at the max , it’s just easier. And most of the people try the easy way , because that’s the way it is.
You should think that every day you leave , should be a productive day , it’s all about forming that habit.
And about habits I’ll will talk in part 4 of this series.

Part 3 of 5
In Part 4 I’ll talk about habits. See you in part 4!
Cristian Stefan

Time Management (Part 2 of 5)

Part 2. Let’s start!
How to have a productive day?

If you want to have a productive day, you need to start thinking this way: Time is the most important resource, that can’t be recovered! If you really understand this fact, then you are good to go.

How to sleep?

We talked in part 1 of this series that you don’t need to sleep in the daytime, but let’s say what if you are very tired and can’t go on with study.
Ok, I’ve got something for that. That’s called a NAP. Scientists have discovered that if you sleep 20 to 30 minutes your brain activity will improve. If you sleep 1 hours, 2 hours in the day time your body will enter that so called “sleep mode” and after you wake up, you will break that sleep mode so you will feel tired, and usually you will have a headache.
So after you came home, you can take a nap of 20 minutes , than wake up and start your work, study, whatever you have to do on that particularly day.

Part 2 of 5
In Part 3 I’ll talk about how can you use your time in your favor. See you in part 3!
Cristian Stefan

Time Management (Part 1 of 5)

Why you should read this?
You should read this if you want to have a productive day , and if you don’t want to waste your time.
Here you can find some valuable tips and tricks for having a great day , a very productive and fulfilling day.

Convinced? Ok , let’s start!

Time
Usually we sleep 8 to 10 hours a day , that leaves us 14 hours of pure free time , let’s say free time , I know you have school , job etc. , but let’s call it that way.
What do we do with this free time? We go to work to earn money , we go to school/university to earn knowledge. But when we get home we go to bed and sleep , than wake up tired and the sleep again.
That is not a productive day!
What you should do?
Let’s say you are a student , you came from university , then go to bed. This is your first mistake. When you sleep , after you got home/to your room.
Why? Because we are supposed to sleep , at night , after a long day of work , a productive day.
We already slept 8 to 10 hours (remember) , why do we need to sleep another 3 or 4 in the daytime! That means from a total of 24 hours you sleep 10+4 = 14 hours , you only have left 8 hours. And from those 8 hours you’ve used already 5 or 6 with the school.
That leaves you 2 hours of facebook , youtube and tv shows.
That’s not a productive day , that’s a lazy day and by doing that you won’t achieve anything in your life  , because hard work pays of!
I never ever sleep in the afternoon , or during the day , I sleep only at night.

Part 1 of 5
In Part 2 I’ll talk about how can have a more productive day , and so on.
